Amerair has applied its air pollution control technology to many types of boilers including stoker-fired, pulverized coal, circulating fluid and bubbling bed boilers and micronized coal. Emissions generated from the firing of a broad range and quality of fuels including stoker coal, pulverized eastern coal, western, PRB, biomass and waste fuels have been successfully controlled.
Through the use of several system designs for particulate, acid-gas and mercury removal, Amerair has applied its fabric filters, dry, semi-dry and wet scrubbers to meet the most difficult outlet emission requirements.
Negative pressure penthouse roof enclosed Pulse Jet Baghouse designed to filter 406,000 ACFM of ash laden flue gases from a 105 megawatt cogenerating facility. This midwest US installation is equipped with 17 ounce polyphenylsulfide (PPS) filter bags with single top removal clean air plenum doors for ease of maintenance.
